Education in Egypt, one more time

I am quite impressed about the number of misunderstandings that seem to have happened in the research area of education. A lot of facts seem to be ignored in the system of schools – for example the insight that every student has his or her own way of learning. Or regarding the list of the four different ways of learning – pupils hardly "learn to be" or "learn to live together" in schools.
I think in the future education is going to change a lot – but of course really slowly, since every change depends on a lot of government decisions and other aspects. With the evolution of technical devices a big change in educational systems will be possible, but in Egypt?
In Egypt, a teacher teaches, you study, you do tests, you are evaluated, you pass or not. The differences of having authority or authoritarianism in the classroom and the real importance of a teacher as a facilitator of the learning process and, more than that, as influenced or empowerment of these young thinking minds.
I hope the future of education will be this: young Egyptians able to discover, able see the world, capable of setting their way of learning and enriching knowledge. Either alone or in groups, to understand that only education will be able to make them people more critical, active, ideas transmitters and protagonists of life they want for themselves.
